The Chorei Tribe also known as Reivon, are tribe with a distinct culture, custom,and administrative system. The Choreis are one of the Indigenous Ethnic Community of Northeast India who belong to the Zo-Kuki-Chin-Halam community family of the Indo-mongoloid.The tribes mostly settle in the state of Assam, Tripura and Mizoram.
The Chorei' speaks Chorei-Chong as their Mother tongue. As per oral tradition they call themselves as "Reivon" or Riam. The tribes further has various sub-clans in itself.
